Outbreak Server Resurrection

Hi there.

Got all my stuff today, everything seems to work ok, but when i run "Ps2 Launcher" and run File 1, no sound plays and controller doesn't register anything. No buttons will do anything at all.

When i run file 2, sound is fine, but again controller doesn't register. It gets to the "Press Start" screen and nothing.

Its a standard ps2 controller i think, with the "analouge" button that turns red when pressed. Don't know how else to describe it, also tried booting in port 2 but doesn't work.

Both games are trans-patched too.

Any ideas? Really hoping someone has had this issue before.

*EDIT - After trying all night, finally got it, i needed two controllers plugged in for some reason and have to switch ports, Anyway i tested it all and i connected to server just fine so ill hopefully be playing tomorrow!

I'm glad to hear you got it fixed! But, just for the record, are you using a PS2 controller adapter or a PS2 joystick? If it's a PS2 adapter please post it here, I bought one recently from Amazon and it sucks *ss. Using PS3 controllers through usb bear similar problems, that's why I'm curious. As for the sound, just go to your sound plugin and try switching settings around until one works, the better the quality the less amount of glitches you'll hear (if you can afford to run it).

If you're running it on console nevermind all the above.

I wasnt using an adapter it was standard controllers on the console. Honestly never had that sort of glitch before so I have no explanation as to why it does that.
