HDL and OPL both won't work

I did everything (I think) normally up to this point, and the game opens fine in PCSX2. Problem starts when I try to play the game file on HDL or OPL. OPL just says no image, and black screens, while HDL just gets stuck on Now Loading... and it stops moving completely. I don't know what's wrong with it. I checked my settings in them and there seems to be nothing wrong. I also had the virtual HDD set right (I think, again) and honestly I don't know anymore. Nothing I set up works even when I follow the guides...
