Hi! Outbreak 1 is my new obsession

Postby Sildarul » Tue Dec 13, 2022 9:52 am

Hello everyone I'm a 43 year french guy

I discovered resident evil in 1997, and despite my fascination for this game,
I must admit that I had a lot of trouble with the 1st generation of 3D games.
It was a few years later with the gamecube that I plunged into the saga.
In recent years, I have wanted to push my knowledge and my playing technique further.....

So I created a youtube channel, but also a stream channel to share my passion.
I then started a physical collection of all the games in PAL version.
For lack of info, I started to constitute me cards and information on the composition of the plays
(booklet, pub, note, ect....). At the same time, I started 100% on the entire saga.

And that's kind of how I find myself here...
After doing 100% on RE 0-1-2Remake-3Remake-4-5-Gaiden (lol)-...
I almost finished the 6-7-8-Dead likes-Umbrella chronicle......
Phew!! Not really knowing which games to turn to for a change,
I think back to this resident evil on PS2 that I found incredible.
I start a tutorial then launch and configure the emulator and here I am streaming Outbreak 1......

This is where @Undead_Mats comes in.
While I've been rediscovering the game for a few hours,
I see a viewer tell me that this game is playable online,
I answer him that I've only ever played solo and that I didn't know a lot about the game yet.
The conversation continued and after exchanging some opinions and info,
I discovered the incredible work of the "Outbreak Server Resurrection" community.
Thanks to all your tutorials and posts on different problems,
I (with a little help) managed to get the game to work online and install it on virtual HDD.
I can now play with my friends with low loading times.
Thank you all... But that's not the end of the story...
See you on the Modifications and other modification forum. 8)
