Resident Evil Outbreak listed under Geforce Now Leak

A man by the name Ighor July uncovered a list of potential games and applications that may or may not be getting a PC release in the future. Among many anticipated titles, Resident Evil Outbreak was listed.

The entire list of applications without a Steam AppID can be found here.

If you want to read Ighor's story of how he came onto this data, you can find it here.

Nvidia responded with this statement:
NVIDIA is aware of an unauthorized published game list, with both released and/or speculative titles, used only for internal tracking and testing. Inclusion on the list is neither confirmation nor an announcement of any game.

NVIDIA took immediate action to remove access to the list. No confidential game builds or personal information were exposed.
Which could be a hand-wave to avoid criticism from developers or not. We won't know until it's official...or not.

Couldn't that be "Outrage" translated wrong again?

Didn't help that the original leaked title was actually "Outbreak" and not "Outrage" but DuskGolum confirmed that it's actually supposed to be Rev3.

However: Re:Verse was ready for release this summer (judging by the beta footage it looked ready enough, even if it was painfully uninspired) But Capcom suddenly delayed it all the way into 2022 for an unspecified date. I guess it's possible that they're finally taking the backlash of the past 3+ MP RE games to heart on top of the fact that Verse has only generated disappointment and 0 hype overall that maybe they're actually going to rebuild/work RE:Verse to an extent? I mean why else would they suddenly delay something that was pretty much finished for 6+ months? Name could have shifted from Verse to Outbreak I suppose? But that's just shooting in the dark like we always have been for the past 15 years lol.

Nothing i should think. People still play original classic RE games. Nostalgia if nothing else keeps these things alive.

At this point I feel like Capcom does not even know what it's going to even release... They had taught of rebooting the series and leaks came of that... Then they were going to remake Re4, but then their soo behind on Re:verse.... Not to mention their going to release a few more dlc's for Village... Honestly the only way for Capcom to EVER make an Outbreak Remastered or a Remake. If a fan-based like the one's that were working on Daymare 1998 do something very similar and cause Capcom to shut-down the fan based game and make it their own. It happen once, and it's bound to happen in the future.. Not the million dollar question is. Are there any talented people willing to work on such projects.. If anyone is in touch with people who created Daymare 1998 or any other talented people for that matter.... Much of these fan-based creators and talented who worked on projects on Outbreak in the past flocked to other interests and hobbies that we never saw the light of their full potential in the video game industry, shame.... :(

Well now. Only time will tell. Given how close the release date is, I wanna say this is a remaster if it's real.

Exciting that there's no 1 or 2 next to it. Maybe it will be 123 as originally intended with branching scenarios as in, combined into... ONE MASTERPIECE (non mass produced)!

https://gamerant.com/final-fantasy-tact ... ster-leak/ The Final Fantasy Tactics Remaster that was listed is looking like it could check out as well.

They probably indefinitely canned Re:Verse and are merging it with whatever Oubreak work they have going on... That's if any of this is true and the March release date is to be believed (Which is stupid close and they still haven't announced it) Otherwise they probably wouldn't want to release them both next to one another.

Wait, REverse still hasn't released? I completely forgot it existed.

https://kotaku.com/resident-evil-re-ver ... 1847297472

It's been delayed until an unspecified point of 2022. They said it's to smooth out gameplay but the game was pretty much done and good to release when it was supposed to in the summer (At least that's how it seemed in the beta footage... And the fact that it was in beta. So a sudden 7+month delay doesn't make that much sense) My guess is that they're rebuilding it because pretty much nobody gave a shit about it. You forgetting it existed is pretty much how everyone felt about it.

If an Outbreak re-something is happening then the sudden delay may have also had something to do with it. But my guess is that their original intention was have RE:verse out in the summer and have Outbreak kick off in March when the Steam for Re:Verse has died out.. That's if an Outbreak is even happening. But Capcom probably realized that there was no steam for Verse in the first place and would be detrimental to have a 4th DOA failed RE multiplayer experience in a row. Maybe they'll try to salvage it by slapping it as a side mode in Outbreak? Hope not, would be a stain more than anything.

I'm just babbling at this point.

*pops a fuse*

so Capcom will make ANY game at all whatsoever and call it RE except for a straight up RE like game.

**** this
**** the game industry

Gamergate should've had the ENTIRE gaming industry cancelled (including the GamerGate creators themselves)!!!

*riots*
