Outbreak Server Resurrection

This is my favorite online multiplayer of all time. Now although I was great back in the hay days, the Japanese take a little getting use to for me. Once everything is set up on my end, I'll be avoiding the VH games for now.

It's great to see such a dedicated community for the game and an even greater pleasure to be involved in it. I have a Japanese PS2 and an original Japanese copy of File# 2.

I can't read anything, so it's all trial and error. I clicked the middle option on the network, but after everything loaded, I got a blue box with text and two options. The left option tries to load something and takes me back to the same page with the blue box. The second option takes me back to the title screen.

Any details would be appreciated.

Ah man, thanks. I was looking at the FAQ. I though I was careful enough to not miss this!

So this game won't run without an HDD? I have a fat ps2 with a bb adapter and the game. Is the HDD necessary?

You don't need the HDD, the game will run as long as you have the Japanese version of outbreak file 2. HDD improves loading times that's all.

Okay, cool. I'm still having issues, but I'll address that in the proper area.
