Interestingly though, the website for Resident Evil Outbreak is currently turning up blank, perhaps in preparation for a big update in a couple of weeks time

really curious what "Project Resistance" will be

though i want to believe it could be another take on Outbreak (similar concept, but things done differently)

You know what? Maybe you guys are right, maybe it is something Outbreak related. It wouldn't be so surprising given that it received two nods in a row from both RE7 and RE2. Though there's one thing everybody is forgetting here:

When RE2 got an official remake, they shut down the fan remake at the time. So where's Capcom in regards to this forum?

I think you are right on both points, each character vaguely resembles their OB counterpart.

This very much could be a 4v1 or one vs all kind of game similar to the recent(ish) friday the 13th, dead by daylight upcoming predator and so on. Also doesn't help that they all look like they're in college. But, as you guys pointed out. As of today the Residenteviloutbreak.com website has been updated. Coincidence? Probably but wow, what a coincidence. Re7 prior to being officially announced was named "Kitchen" So there's that.

Actually now that I stared a bit longer the redesigned Kevin, kinda resembles Kevin:C doesn't it? Even the hair (At least from the front) And it makes sense that they redesigned the characters with the RE engine using the photo realism which is becoming a trend.

My stomach feels like it's in literal knots right now.

@ Snake: Good catch but also notice that he has dog tags? Meaning if this is a new Kevin it would explain why there was no trace of him in the RPD in remake2
