Re: Hello everyone

Hi all, I'm Jake, and I've been a fan of Outbreak (mainly File #2) for well over a decade and a half. Still not the greatest player in the world, but I'm eager to try things out online for the first time! Welcome Jake! You've come to the right place. Just sign in to the chat here, say hi and ask if...

Re: Plans to go open source

What's the size limit on here? I might redo it on a more minimal version of debian to save space. Here's the link for anyone who wants to try it out. Not quite sure on the size limit. But I took a look at the instructions you posted, and I see that you've put together a script for running the serve...

Re: Plans to go open source

You were right it was the config file. I accidentally put in 192.168.1.233 when it was supposed to be 192.168.1.223. Seems to load the scenarios now. I feel so silly I overlooked this. Would you mind if I post my Virtualbox OVA file, if someone wanted to try it fully set up? Will have to have a go ...

Re: Newbie Lookin 4 other Newbies

Welcome! And yes i agree with RipRavage. I am no expert, but always happy to help out new players. If you want to work things out yourself then just play a few offline or online games by yourself first...Or just let people know in the obsrv chat that you want to work things out yourself but would li...

Re: New Here

Hi and welcome :). Best place to start is here: http://obsrv.org/viewforum.php?f=13 if you are intending to play using PCSX2 emulator. Note: Unless you have a JAP PS2 or a modded PS2 that can play JAP disks, you will need ripped .ISO of the JAP game disks. US or PAL versions WILL NOT WORK with OBSRV...

Re: Greetings from Poland!

Does the Internet connection speed matter? My bandwith is 60 Mb/s. I presume that is fine... That I didn't know about. :o Seems like I have to learn the item locations again. Just a few differences...mostly with the key items. By the way, is there any particular messaging app that is uni...

Re: Capcom requesting testers for another unannounced title via RE Ambassadors.

And even so Unreal or Unity will still need to be able to interface with OBSRV.ORG server for online play to work, which may or may not be simple?? Those engines are both complete packages that allow online multiplayer. It's literally just a few settings to tweak. Then you tell the camera to be in ...

Re: Capcom requesting testers for another unannounced title via RE Ambassadors.

If they're that good, all they have to do is download Unreal or Unity. It's practically drag & drop. No need to use "the" RE Engine. Come on. There's simply nobody interested. Yes, agree with you in principle, but that doesn't mean there won't be somebody interested in future ;). I'm interested but...
